At Fifteen.Five.Ten, we understand the importance of your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data. By using our services, including Head Spa and Light Touch Relaxation, you agree to the practices outlined here.

Personal Information

Personal information refers to any details that can identify you or that can be used to reasonably ascertain your identity. We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Collection of Personal Information

We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our services, manage your bookings, and improve your experience with us. The personal information we may collect includes:

  • Information you provide directly: This could include your name, contact details, preferences, or any information provided during the booking or communication process.

  • Information from website use: We collect data on your interactions with our website, including technical information such as browser type, pages visited, and duration of visits, in order to improve our website and services.

  • Third-party information: If applicable, we may receive information about you from third-party services you use to book appointments or interact with us.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

We use your personal information primarily to provide the services you request, communicate with you, and improve your experience. Your personal information may also be disclosed to third parties for the following reasons:

  • To external service providers (e.g., payment processors, email management systems).

  • To comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

If you receive emails from us (e.g., newsletters or promotions), we may use email tracking tools to assess how you interact with the emails. This data helps us tailor our communication and improve our services.

Sensitive Information

In some cases, we may collect sensitive information, such as health-related data, if it is relevant to the services we provide (e.g., for specific head spa treatments). We will only collect this information with your explicit consent or when required by law.

Children's Treatments

Fifteen.Five.Ten provides treatments for children aged 10 years and older. A parent or legal guardian must remain in the treatment room for the duration of the session. All personal information collected regarding children is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). This includes details provided during booking and any forms completed prior to the session. Hard copy forms are stored securely, and any electronic information is safeguarded with appropriate security measures.

Cookies

We use cookies to enhance your experience on our website. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us track anonymous usage patterns, such as pages visited and time spent on the site. You can disable cookies via your browser settings, but this may limit the functionality of our website.

Access to Your Personal Information

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. If any information is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request that we correct it. To make a request, please contact us directly. In some circumstances, we may refuse access to your personal data, such as when the information is legally privileged or if giving access would impact the privacy of others.

Overseas Transfers of Personal Information

We do not transfer your personal information overseas. However, if this policy changes in the future, we will ensure that any transfer of personal data will comply with relevant privacy laws and principles.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and we encourage you to review the policy periodically. By continuing to use our services, you accept the updated terms.

Occupational Health and Safety

If you are an adult receiving treatment, then I kindly ask that you do not bring children (including babies), friends, or family to the appointment. If your child (aged 10 or above) is receiving treatment, only one parent or legal guardian may accompany them in the treatment room, as this is a requirement for the session. This policy ensures the safety and comfort of all clients in our studio.

Liability for Personal Items

Personal items brought into the studio are your responsibility. We provide a basket for your belongings, which will remain in the treatment room with you throughout your session. However, we are not liable for any lost or damaged items, so please ensure that you keep your belongings secure during your visit.
